In art this week we were all drawing the painting Surprised: Tiger in a Storm. Our art teacher split the painting into 24 pieces and each person in the class got a section to draw. Once we had gotten our piece of the painting we had to draw a few guide lines on it to mark halfway so that it was easier for us to draw the painting as big as it needed to be. Once we'd drawn the rough outlines of our drawing we had to use oil pastils to colour it in. We had to make sure we used different shades and to be sure that we have blended it in well enough to not see any white from the paper and to make each colour run into eachother. We will be carrying on with this next week too.
